This kit is to make two Great Western Railway bench seats.

The GWR had very distinctive seating for their platform benches - each leg casting has the GWR roundel in relief detail, which is neatly represented in this kit.

The kit builds one bench for 2 leg castings, and one bench for 3 leg castings, as per the set in the photos.

Supplied as a flat packed brass etch kit, requiring assembly and painting.

The 'official' paint scheme was apparently that the entire bench would be chocolate brown, however over time the logo began to be picked out in creamy white which then became the norm.
