As usual with a Severn Models kit, components are designed to fold up from larger pieces of brass where appropriate, to aid construction.

Supplied with all parts required to build as the photos, metal tubes for wheel axles, and instructions sheets.

With a model of this nature it may be stronger to solder some parts, however the example in the photos has been assembled by running superglue into joins by capillary action, and a few blobs of epoxy resin.

Thsi kit contains four work platforms and two stepladders. There are also three lengths of normal ladder for you to cut up into the sizes you need.

The platform frames fold around from one piece with just step treads to glue in, and similarly the stepladder 'A' frames fold over from one piece for crisp assembly.

​This kit is based on a Mckenzie & Holland Type 3 signal box, which I understand was widely used throughout the network. It was commercially available for any company to purchase, and anecdotal information suggests around 20 different railway companies had at least one of this type. There is some variation in the type, sometimes being built longer to accomodate more levers, and staircases were built to suit the location. They were constructed from around 1876 to 1912, with some surviving today.

Kit to build six deckchairs.

Each chair is a single piece of brass that you curve the seat part then fold down the leg frames.

Being such a tiny structure, inevitably these are a bit fiddly!
